I don't believe I have ever reviewed anything on this site before. I came across this film on Fubo, I was simply hoping to add the Buffalo Bills football team to my watchlist, and the site suggested this film because of the name. I looked at to see if it had something to do with my hometown, Buffalo, NY. It doesn't. But one day I gave it a chance, and I loved it. I have stopped watching movies the last ten years or so. I don't care about super heroes or comic books or explosions. Somewhere along the way during my lifetime, movies stopped being art and became entertainment, it seems. Big movies at least. As near as I can tell, this film was made by a father and son, with small-town actors. It doesn't show. It's a real achievement. It feels real. I cared about this man. I was moved by it. It takes its time to build something. It doesn't go for the obvious cheap ending. It's not going to be for everyone. You know who you are, the audience for this film. I would like to see more from this director/writer. Watch it and tell someone else about it.
