Doin' It

People who are rating it low don't understand the message. It's funny and important. Huzzah for sex ed especially when education is threatened in this country. For those who are fans of Lily and a good / hopeful rom com, go watch. Only note, they didn't really talk about consent, the one topic I was surprised they didn't mention. Happy viewing and bravo Lily.

As far as raunchy comedies go, one of the better ones I've seen in a while.

Some truly hilarious moments and the cast really elevates the whole thing. You can tell some improv of people just riffing off one another made the final cut, and that's a personal favorite of mine.

I came to laugh and laugh I did, so no regrets!

I liked Lily from back in the day when she was our girl Supergirl, so it shouldn't have been hard for me to like this.

I did like some, but I guess I should have paid more attention to the warning instinct I had when I read the poster blurb "from the twisted mind of". We all should pay attention to instinctual warnings I guess, amazing we often choose not to.

Some parts are just excessively gross, and they drag on. I know that passes for comedy these days, maybe I'm more upset because I expected a better class of joke from her.

I don't know what twisted her mind, easy bet is it's the world around her, I guess I'm most upset because of the accuracy of the film's unintentional commentary on that .. wait - was that the point of it all? Cuz then the nastiness is functional, and which would make this movie a 9 or 10 and the metaness of that is going to explode my brain.

Wow this movie completely blew me away. Honestly I went in thinking it was just gonna be another cheesy high school comedy but it was the total opposite. The jokes weren't the typical corny ones, they were actually smart and really funny. There wasnt a single boring moment, every scene had something going on that kept the energy up. My partner and me were laughing the whole time and honestly everybody in the theater was too. If you want a comedy that actually hits, Doing It is def worth watching.

I enjoyed the movie a lot. I thought it would be more sexual than it was, though. The language was racier than the movie itself. But, it does touch on a lot of issues surrounding how women are taught to be ashamed of their bodies. Sex Ed is something that should be taught to kids, but first by their parents. That seems to be pretty unrealistic, though. As long as it is done right, and not teaching them to be afraid, it's not a bad thing. I think, more than anything, the movie can start a much needed discussion.
