S2 episode 9 is the reason to watch

Up until season 2 episode 9 I truthfully felt the show was maybe a 6. The actor who plays Louis has more downs than ups. His accent moves from speaking like he was raised in the ghetto to back to French New Orleans 1800's. It becomes noticeable many times. Claudia is cast better in the 2nd season and does a really good job.

But the arrival of Lestat and his acting was outstanding in this episode. It was just announced that is was renewed for season 3 so maybe he did in fact save it. I believe that it was noticeable the lack good acting until now.

Hopefully, the story moves to Lestat and away from Louis.
