It's great to see Marvel actors outside of the franchise. I never once felt that tom Hiddleston was Loki at any point. He did a fantastic job of making the character his own rather than trying to emulate James Bond.
The show really encapsulated a sleek, fast paced and well written thriller that never dragged at any place. Tom Hiddleston being the night manager/ British intelligence recruit was very convincing in my eyes. If they announced he was the next James Bond I wouldn't bat an eyelash because it would be a an excellent choice, he really exudes what James Bond really needs. Hugh Laurie is a very interesting choice to play a rich business man but it worked. He's charming when he needs to be and brutal if the situation calls but always calm. All the side characters were interesting and did not feel unnecessary.
Even the ending was fun to watch without anything really crazy happening but satisfying none the less. This show is what James Bond should aim to be. Sexy, fast and writing that is tongue in cheek but serious. 10/10. I really hope there is a second season because I loved it.
