The Other Mrs Jordan - Catching the Ultimate Conman

I had heard about this story and this weirdo man a few years ago. It was nice watching it in a concise, well done 3 part series. This guy is a piece of work. He completely destroyed all of these women's lives. They all look so defeated by life.

The kids are the true victims for sure. I hope they dont have long term effects from this weirdo. And I do believe that even smart women could get lured into his web of lies. He looks so sweet and innocent. I'm sure the British accent helped (at least with the American women).

The retired Marshall was on the case. It seems like he was in it for personal reasons.

I guess the saying is true. If it seems too good to be true...it probably is....

This was a poorly made documentary. Without the dramatic music, I'm uncertain as to whether this would have any emotional impact at all. This is not to say this was a good guy or that his behavior was excusable. Clearly he was a serial bigamist.

Remaining questions: 1. Who is this Tex dude and who is paying him?

2. Are local law enforcement people in this country so utterly incompetent that the victims have to do the investigations?

The constant shifts back and forth over 15 years were confusing and did not help move the story forward.

Tex was a joke, and his little speeches about "getting this guy" rang hollow and forced.

While this was just three episodes, it was probably two too long.

I was invested in this doc bc I recognized one, possibly two pics from a dating site, or two? It was easily 15 years ago or longer. I'm not certain if we messaged, I think we did...? I def remember him bc he does have a very nice smile, too bad it's all a deception.

I'm glad those women joined forces, helping other women to avoid the pain and humiliation that they felt. They are HEROES, SHEROS!!

Unfortunately some ppl would not care to prevent others from experiencing the same pain.

And some ppl wouldn't even know how to proceed.

Thank you strong lovely women! Thank you focusing your pain and trauma to make this world a little less s***.

Honestly, esp the women with his children, they are TRULY AMAZING.

Most of us who've dated have had heartbreaking experiences, experiences with dishonest ppl and it doesn't feel good. It affects your ego and your self-worth and if you already have any type of mental health issues, which is most of us, the experience can set us back and recovery can involve not bothering to even get out of bed.

KUDOS WOMEN! YOU DID GREAT!
