Between assignments directing quality dramas for Wicked Pictures, Seth Gamble also manages to spotlight himself as sex performer in one-man vignette releases, like the tedious "Timeless". Yes, he gets to hump an assortment of actresses in mindless, gonzo content apparently aimed at fans (or fanatics) who just can't get enough of staring at the star's cock.
This one has a vignette trying to capture the spirt of four decades, from the Roaring Twenties to the Eisenhower Fifties. I didn't enjoy it and briefly here are the most major defects: 1. While costuming and femmes' styling is attractive, the camerawork is modern in each decade, with zero attempt to capture the particular look of movies from each era, a missed opportunity.
2. Gonzo approach is boring, with each half hour of XXX action running at least twice as long as necessary. Note: no editor credit is displayed.
3. Seth's smug expression for each of the four "characters" he plays is perhaps all-too-revealing of his approach to this material.
4. Casting is merely okay, nothing special. The actresses seem randomly selected, and offer a steep decline for Wicked compared to its days at the top of Romantic Porn. For example, just before I watched this new feature, I saw for the first time an obscure, forgotten 1995 Wicked movie "Tender Loving Care", and that trivial film starred no less than Kylie Ireland, Misty Rain, P. J. Sparxx, J. C. Carrington and Patricia Kennedy, plus an acting role (NonSex) for then-budding starlet Jenna Jameson!
On the plus side, VIolet Starr is fine as a '20s flapper, Queenie Sateen brings naturally big breasts to the show as a '30s chanteuse with a pleasant voice (though her song is poorly post-synced) and Jill Kassidy is hot as a '50s lingerie saleslady.
