In the 1950s, the Little Rascals and Our Gang comedies was a staple of every-day TV after school. Hosted by Officer Joe Bolten, the Our Gang Clubhouse used to run and rerun various shorts of the Little Rascals. Althalfa, Farina, and Spanky, among others. They were fun to watch then, and will be fun for your young kids to watch now. Although this series ended with the 1930s, it is still relevant today because the behavior of children is pretty much universal. Also, this series was one of the first noted for creating an atmosphere of inclusion by having black kids interact with white kids in a natural setting.
