Laughter in the Countryside
I had the pleasure of watching "Thalavettiyan Palayam," a hilarious comedy series set in a quaint village. Debut actor Abishek Kumar, formerly a stand-up comedian, nails his role as a young village officer from the city.
The series masterfully weaves humor into the story, expertly capturing the nuances of village life, culture, and people. Abishek's character, a fish-out-of-water in the rural setting, provides endless comedic moments. His city-bred sensibilities clash with the village's laid-back attitude, resulting in sidesplitting humor.
The supporting cast delivers impressive performances, adding depth and authenticity to the narrative. The writing is crisp, with clever dialogue and situations that will leave you chuckling.
What stands out is the series' ability to balance humor with heartfelt moments, showcasing the beauty of village life. The cinematography captures the picturesque landscape, immersing viewers in the charm of rural India.
Abishek Kumar's transition from stand-up comedy to acting is seamless, and his talent shines in this debut role. His perfect timing and expressive performance bring the character to life.
*Recommendation:* If you enjoy light-hearted comedies with a rural twist, "Thalavettiyan Palayam" is a must-watch.

feeling good
Clicked on prime seeing the name ThalaiVettiyaan paalayam , I Must say a whole different vibe which is really fresh , smiling and authentic .This drama revolve around 4 to 5 people , Trust me those people I'm indicatring here will never keep you bored love the series , As a person living in city it really is fascinating how village and its people were ,Yeah its true i have experienced their hospitality. Again it is so nice and i must say say i found first 2 episodes a bit of laggy and after that the third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth all those are totally refreshing, A must watch don;t miss and don't go for reviews . JAI HIND.
Feel good story made excellenty well.
Excellenty made web series. Story line, making and selection of actors went perfectly well. Each and every character performed really well making the watching feel like watching a real life action!. Portraying every one being good at heart (although having small selfishness at times as a natural phenomenon of human being) seemed very good, thus, making this a perfect "feel good web series". Must watch web series!. Each episode was so nice
that it felt to be too short when we reached the end of an episode. Wish more such good web series gets produced to give a good feeling to people after watching one since these days' movies/web series are made with so much violence that one carry no good feeling after watching them. Eagerly awaiting the release of season 2....
Surprising experience
Very surprisingly good. I was expecting a boring remake, but I didn't realize it made so many changes.
And I'm not a local so I don't know if there is also a disparity in the level of women's exposure to politics in different parts of India. Meenakshi in Thalaivettiyaan Paalayam gets a lot more power and respect than Manju Devi. She is involved in many things , has more rational basis and reason to be involved in politics. Her husband does not easily criticize and ignore her opinions or order her around from on high.
So happy that they are a very harmonious and beautiful couple, which makes Thalaivettiyaan Paalayam more comfortable to watch.
My favorite character in Panchayat is Vikas, he is funny and kind, I thought I wouldn't like Lakshmipathi but he is so different from Vikas that I can't compare him, he is more lively and witty, including the differences in the roles of Prabhu and Prahlad, which is very nice. Makes me want to see the novelty of the experience with these changes and differences.
I don't want Thalaivettiyaan Paalayam to be too confined to Panchayat's story development, it deserves its own original storyline afterward or else it would be a waste!
Looking forward to the new season.
