You Are Not Alone

I love this movie, I watch it every year on 4th of July. It's innovative, creative, and a new spin on the slasher genre. I see people commenting on it being slow in the beginning, the movie is showing you mundane plots circling around the main character all the while in the background you are really getting the story though props. This includes things like a radio news bulletin playing in the diner, a newspaper headline describing the same event. It takes a keen eye but I think it's a creative way to build lore.

The downside for me is that this movie is VERY niche and hard to find. It was streaming on shudder years back but not anymore. I did end up finding a copy overseas that I had to use a reigon free DVD player to play.

If you're lucky enough to come across this one, give it a shot.
