Course Correction

Episode 7 increased up the tension and stakes like never before. The pacing is good and the suspense keeps you on the edge of your seat the entire time. Resurrection is getting emotional while maintaining the thrilling dark vibe the OG SERIES is known for. Definitely the best season since season 4.... Dont get me wrong i liked s7 but im sorry this season has surpassed it a few eps ago for me.

This is just amazing, the whole series might be the best Dexter of all time, only certain episodes of season 4 of the original series might be as good as this.

New Blood was just okay, still better than season 8 of the original series, but this is just phenomenal, there are no words to describe my amusement.

Michael C. Hall is at the top of his game, how he deals with playing serial killer who is playing serial killer is just majestic. The final scene of this episode is poetical and it announces great "showdown" in the final three episodes. Im delighted to hear that this series has just been confirmed to have season 2 and 3. Can't wait for the next episode!

If the series keeps up this pace of great episodes, it will definitely surpass even Dexter's season 4. Dexter Resurrection is perfect, always creating suspense in the final minutes of the episode and leaving viewers eager for the next one. It's great to see Harrison's character development with his new outlook on the future, as well as the relationship and bond Dexter is building with his son to support him whenever possible. Absolute cinema.

I think this was one of the strongest acting performances that Hall has put out in the entire series. Also the tension with the gemini and talking about the connection, chef's kiss.

The show-and-tell, the talk in the car and the scenes with Harrison. I'm really hoping they don't fumble the finale. Ofc that has been a writers problem, not the acting, atleast from Halls part.

This time, the creators of Dexter don't seem to be going for a quick cash grab like they did with Dexter: New Blood. Instead, they appear committed to building a well-crafted series that can continue for many seasons. Michael C. Hall could even be in Emmy contention after this episode, along with Peter Dinklage. The mirror scene with Dexter's monologue, as well as his conversation with Prater, showcased outstanding acting. Meanwhile, Eric Stonestreet is undeniably a talented actor and a solid pick for the role of Rapunzel in this show. However, his performance still feels a bit like a parody of his Modern Family character, Cam. That might be because audiences are so used to seeing him in a comedic role for over a decade, which makes it somewhat strange to watch him play a serial killer.
