This documentary is a meditative journey through the harsh powers that nature unleashes to the Cabo Verde islands and the impact of human behaviour on nature itself. It shows a fierce but loving dance between the birthplace of turtles and hurricanes alike and humans that are a threat to this life force as well as a loving saviour. The beautiful cinematography combines ultrawide landscape shots and drone shots with extreme close-ups and underwater shots, becoming visual poetry at times.
