It has Ozarks and animal kingdom vibes, coastal town with a lot of family drama mixed with crime and drugs. With the writer of Dawsons creek behind it you get a lot of romances and love triangles which I feel does kind of water it down but I thought it did well for what it was. You had mysteries surrounding the family and the main cast which led to a lot of family turmoil but where it shined was when they had to make decisions that could topple there family legacy. The season flew by with 8 episodes and left it open for a lot of possibilities. It's not a perfect series but gives you enough to stay committed to it. Overall I give it 7 out of 10.
I was a actually pretty impressed in this film. From the trailer I thought it was gonna be a lot of time travel and going back and forth almost like edge of tomorrow but it was actually a good story! With Pratt isn't wasn't as comical as I wanted to be but for it to be PG13 the.it was pretty violent and the action was really good! Pratt and Simmons as father and son were very compatible and adding some of the family drama with the global invasion was well written! Overall definitely worth a Watch!
