Born in Seattle, brought up in Goettingen, Germany. Studied directing
and writing at the prestigious Munich Film School (Hochschule fuer
Fernsehen und Film). Upon graduation, he was awarded the German DAAD
scholarship for the arts and studied acting at New York University's
Atlantic Theater Company Acting School.
