Gonzalo Carreno opened as proprietor "The Mark of Zarco" Restaurant at 6555 Hollywood Blvd., Hollywood, Calif. Known as the place to go when the Brown Derby closed and most famous for the full oil wall murals that were commissioned by Mr. Carreno displaying the discovery of California by the Spaniards.
