(2016 to 2017 Winter) The musical, "October Sky,' Was performed in a West Coast premiere production at the Old Globe Theatre in San Diego, California. Barry Edelstein was artistic director. Rachel Rockwell was director. Brian Hill and Aaron Thielen wrote the book. Michael Mahler was composer and lyricist. Universal Pictures Film and his novel, "Rocket Boys," inspired the musical.
