As a young boy, Ronni was a regular patron of the Glasgow Film Theatre, thanks to family trips to the cinema to see films such as Bambi and Watership Down. Later, in the mid 1990's, Ronni worked there as an usher. Even though he got to introduce audiences to such masterpieces as Fargo and Rosemary's Baby, he preferred coming in on his days off to learn how the projectors worked, and discovering the history of this unique cinema. Some years later, he returned to the Glasgow Film Theatre, but this time, on the big screen. The Glasgow Film Theatre remains a very special place for Ronni to this day.
