Kuma was trained exclusively by his owner Sarah Clifford, who rescued Kuma as a young puppy from the South Los Angeles Animal Shelter. Kuma is known to be one of Hollywood's top trained dogs in the industry to date (as of 2012) knowing well over 75 different trained behaviors.
