Alyssa Bonchick

Alyssa Bonchick is currently the Development Manager of the Original Programming Department for Scripps Networks (ION, Bounce, Court TV, Newsy, Laff, Grit). Her role includes taking pitch meetings, developing movies and scripted series for the networks, and overseeing these projects in regard to concept, script development, casting and elements of production. Prior to her current role, Bonchick served as Coordinator of Content Acquisitions at ION Media which included assessing potential series for acquisitions in regard to both the creative and data analytics, being trained in Nielsen. Bonchick also previously held the position of Press Intern at ViacomCBS for MTV as she managed daily coverage reports, drafted press releases and tune-in alerts and helped with press strategies including media press days.

Bonchick is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) with a major in Communications and minor in Film, Television and Media.
