Anecdotes
Her father is of Norwegian (one half), German, and Sinti/Roma descent. Her mother, Vilailuck Teigen, is Thai. Chrissy's surname is of Norwegian origin. Chrissy discovered on Finding Your Roots with Henry Louis Gates, Jr. (2012) that her distant paternal cousins, who were Roma, were killed in the Holocaust in Auschwitz.
