Shatanand: Who are you?
Sage Narad: I am the one whom you were waiting for. Now, I am here. So, every ritual will take place as per your traditions.
Ram (2015-2016): I am pleased that you are here.
King Janak: As per Mithila's traditions, the groom has to seek blessings from a washerman. I request you to perform the ritual without any delay. The auspicious period has started. The rest of the rituals need to be performed too.
Sage Narad: Do I need to bless him?
Ram (2015-2016): It is a tradition. And you must follow it.
Sage Narad: [Thinking] Oh, Lord! How can I give blessings to you? I am your devotee.
Ram (2015-2016): Why are you hesitating?
Sage Narad: [Thinking] Do not test me this way, Lord! Help me get out of this situation. Please help me.
Ram (2015-2016): I am waiting for you.
Shatanand: We are losing time here. Kindly, do not delay. We have to look forward to other rituals as well.
Ram (2015-2016): Will you not give me your blessings?
Sage Narad: I am not qualified enough to bless you, Lord. You liberated Ahilya from her curse. You eliminated Tadka! You even managed to break Lord Shiva's bow. You managed to string the bow of Lord Vishnu. I can just ask for your blessings, Lord. I don't have the competence to bless you. I just want to tell you that I am lucky to be graced by your presence. Your marriage with Goddess Sita is as heavenly as that of Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi. I consider myself lucky enough to be present ay your wedding, Lord. Please, allow me to leave.
Ram (2015-2016): Please, listen to me. At least, extend your felicitation for the wedding.
Sage Narad: Lord! I congratulate you from the bottom of my heart. That would be with you forever.
