Living on Fantasy Lane

Obviously aimed at die-hard VV fans, this chance for Vanessa Veracruz to add directing to her resume does show the beautiful star off but little more than that is accomplished. She made it for Sunny Leone's label, and it stands as one of the last new releases from the once mighty but now quiescent Vivid Video (initials match hers!).

Vanessa pilots four lengthy scenes with other gals of her choosing, the best of which is a spotlight on 6-footer Rilynn Rae, a favorite of mine among currently underrated talent. It gives Rae a chance to play the dom in a fetish/BDSM vignette, performed lite but invigorating nonetheless.

The rest of the show is ho-hum, Sapphic couplings with attractive girls, the most famous of which Bree Daniels is a sexy performer as always. Scarlet Red does a schoolgirl turn for jail-bait fans, while Carmen Caliente is muy caliente to repeat the cliché that is nearly mandatory.

On the current scene dominated by gonzo and all-sex, this is hardly likely to reach beyond the VV universe.
