Old-Growth Murder

This is so sad and tragic. A young man leaving his home for a huge adventure in the prime of his life and he is murdered so savagely by savages!!! I watch a lot of crime shows to see how these crimes are committed and to learn how to stay safe in this crazy world.

This one in particular was so heart wrenching. We will never know if he would have been safer had he been with a friend. I do feel bad for the police because they were limited back then with forensics etc. I know some of the officers do feel the weight of not solving the case.

The lady from Canada, Anne Hannah and her family were truly angels. They really advocated for the young man that they barely knew. There are wonderful people out there. And staying in touch with his grieving parents is truly the kindest gesture of all.

My favourite part by far was watching the planting of the flower near where Allain died. I really wish that flower was still alive.

It's never too late. Perhaps the murderer(s) will be caught one day.
