'Lady Driver' is the story of Bunty who loved driving and becomes a lady driver for her boss, Dr. Deep. Bunty was a happy go lucky girl who worked under Dr. Deep. Dr. Deep was a married man with a daughter. But, his wife had an extra-marital affair which he was unaware of. One day when he has to attend a friend's party his driver takes leave and he asks Bunty to drive him to the party. Everybody in the party mistakes her for his wife. Their car breaks down on their way back and they get shelter at the garage owner's house. They also mistake them for a married couple. Deep gets intimate with Bunty in a state of intoxication. When he returns home he finds his wife murdered by her boyfriend. He is shattered. Eight years later Bunty still works as a driver for Dr. Deep and takes care of her daughter. Both of them share an unnamed bond of understanding and love.
