- AnecdotesChip Gutchel is the real name of director Tyler Cornack's God father. He always thought it was a funny name so they used it in the movie.

Chief Lazarra: So you're asking me to go off this theory you got about a white married male, who happens to be a father, living in the suburbs of critica county, who also happens to be your AA sponsor, which I might add, has been secretly running around, cramming objects, animals, and children up his asshole. Then he somehow digest them and he does this in sprees almost in a serial killer fashion. Is that about it?
Detective Russel Fox: Uh huh. Well I'm not entirely sure about the whole uh, digestive system part, but yeah. And it seems the more objects this guy is putting up his ass, uhh... the stronger he's getting. That's my theory, anyway.

Now don't get me wrong the idea/concept behind the film is absurd and ridiculous yet somehow they managed to pull it off.
The deeper meaning/ideology inside is that of addiction and the knock on affect of its destructive nature yet at the same time it's not entirely a metaphor.
The narrative and pacing suck you in, as well as the excellent cinamotgraphy, everything is familiar in a serious 90s cop movie kind of way as well as other 90s classics such as Clerks Pulp Fiction and Seven.
Even the main role plays a homage to De Niro without it coming off as a parody. The acting overall was good with a only a few weaker performances from very minor characters who have little screen time but nothing to make the Stomach churn.
Even when things get even more absurd it only makes you want to watch more to find out how it all comes out at the end. At the same time the entire thing is played as deadly serious as a noir classic with only a few subtle hints at humour.
I don't know which crazy mind this came from but bravo to the creators for having the balls to put it out there and do it with such brilliance. Even with the madness that I just witnessed I still managed to come away with a deeper meaning while at the same time a wry smile on my face.
If this does not become a cult classic I'll be surprised, its probably too much to ' stomach ' for many ( although not as bad as many other films ), they don't shove something in your face just for shock value either, everything is there for a reason to help things make sense out of the nonsensical.
This is what film making is about, whatever you are making, make it good and use all the tools at your disposal to engage and envelope the audience.
Bravo to all involved, it must have been difficult given the subject somehow you managed to avoid making a turd.....
