First of all it is really nice to see a genre movie from Germany. Still not enough out there imho. Apart from that though, I have to keep it real. The acting is bad (on purpose?) and the stories are not too original overall. The effects are good though, which may help you overlook the mentioned flaws and others along the way.
Obviously there is a connection, but I don't think many are watching trying to figure out what that might be. Don't waste your time trying to either, it's not really worth it. Just watch the movie if you have to or want to support independent German horror cinema.
