31 March 1927 issue of the Monticello (Illinois) Bulletin claims Severn Leischner, a local woman from DeLand, IL, was in the film.

"Local Woman in Movies. Miss Severn Leischner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Leischner, of DeLand, may be seen in the movie, "The Country Beyond" which will be shown here at the Lyric Theatre, Friday and Saturday, April 8 and 9 (1927). Miss Leischner can be seen very distinctly in this picture and her friends may easily recognize her. She is in some of the dances as well as in other parts. Her friends will enjoy seeing "Our Movie Star."

The Piatt County Republican of 31 March 1927 reported that her name was Sebern Leischner.
