This made for television disaster movie aired on the exact same day of the real life Tenerife disaster in the Canary Islands. On March 27, 1977 two jumbo passenger jets (Pan Am Flight 1736 and KLM Flight 4805) collided on the runway in heavy fog at Los Rodeos Airport in Tenerife. The fatal crash killed 583 people from the two planes and still stands (as of 2015) as the worst disaster in aviation history.

Suspenseful, to say the least

This movie revolves around a plane that crashed into the top of a skyscraper. Engineers try to figure out how to get the passengers off without making the plane fall. Its a real edge-of-your-seat movie if this is what you are into. It was made for TV and its hard to find today.
