Split Image, l'envoûtement

"Split Image" is one of those movies WHO could have been a bright platform to expose the dark mechanisms of a cult - instead we get pale actors who act with the emotional depth of a carp pond. There is no spiritual and intellectual debate! Instead we have clichéd dialogue and characters who seem to have left their motivation somewhere in the script. The film drags on like a security guard without a coffee break, while you wonder whether at least the setting could be illuminated if the plot doesn't. Six out of ten stars - because the topic could be interesting if someone had only taken it seriously.
