Typical Mariano Ozores movie in which Fernando Esteso works as a manufacturer chief with no much success. Alicia (Loreta Tovar), the wife of Federico (Fernando Esteso), an underwear businessman, has abandoned him with 600,000 pesetas after discovering that her husband is unfaithful to one of his catalog models (Marta Valverde). To prevent his wealthy uncle Ramón (Antonio Ozores) from discovering the flight of his wife, whom he believes is pregnant, and stop financing his new product, Federico makes his housemaid, Lola (Fedra Lorente), pass for the woman. Because of the lingerie manufacturer needs financing, Federico prepares a set-up when the millionaire uncle comes to visit him with his wife (Adriana Vega) to complete the business. But things go wrong, as Alicia who has left him after seeing some photos of him with a model goes back home.
Ordinary Esteso movie with habitual ingredients as non-sense incidents, irony , silly jokes, disconcerting messes, nude girls , entertainment and amusement. This 4 Mujeres y un lio 1985 is made in the wake of the previous Pajares-Esteso movies, as they played big hit pictures , however, here Esteso provides an only recital without his habitual colleague Pajares, as Fernando performed his own vehicles in some films as El Erotico enmascarado, El hijo del cura, Pepito Piscinas, El Primer Divorcio, El Recomendado, Queremos un hijo tuyo, 4 Mujeres y un lio or El soplagaitas . Of course , the Seventies and Eighties were Destape or nudism time, that's why here appears the usual beautiful actresses showing their charming anatomy , such as : Adriana Vega, Fedra Lorente, Marta Valverde, Loreta Tovar . Equally, there shows up a lot of famiiar faces who used to play in Mariano Ozores movies, such as : Juanito Navarro, Francisco Carabias, Arevalo, Pilar Bardem, Jose Yepes, and, of course, Antonio Ozores .
It displays regular and functional musical score by Gregorio Garcia Segura, usual composer of a large number of films in the Sixties, Seventies and Eighties. As well atmospheric but mediocre cinematography by cameraman Julio Burgos. The motion picture was lousily but professionally written/directed by prolific filmmaker Mariano Ozores. Rating : 4/10. Only for Fernando Esteso and Mariano Ozores followers.
