This story is ridiculous

I gave up on this movie half-way through. The plot holes are enormous. Here's a woman who's mad at her husband for not telling her everything, then she doesn't tell him that she's hired a WOMAN in her shop. She never asks her husband if he has a picture of his ex-wife or a good description of her except that she has brown eyes. She hires a complete stranger in the town without asking her where she came from or any other questions about her past (or present), and completely trusts her even though she's scared to death to know that a woman is out there who wants revenge. I gave up on the story after the police come and tell her that a woman with that name was found drowned, and she doesn't ask any other questions. This story has no suspense, no logic and is completely ridiculous.
