This movie tells about the relations between men and women, surprise surprise.And how complicated it all can get.Miehen Kylkiluu (1937) is directed by Hugo Hytönen and Orvo Saarikivi.It's based on Maria Jotuni's play from 1914.I read the play a year and so ago.This movie version works, despite being a little dated.But I found it pretty funny when Tuomas finds himself between two women and has to make a choice between those women.The actors do good work.Helena Kara gives her movie debut here playing Aina Zinck.Elsa Rantalainen is Amalia Oljander.Verna Piponius plays Miina Salokannel.Hugo Hytönen is Topias Kinkkunen.Paavo Jännes is Tuomas Lukasson.Pentti Viljanen is Jussi Ollenberg.If you like old movies and if you're able to overlook its flaws, this is your movie.
