Bearing little resemblance to the Christian Slater hit, this story of a girl who wants to become a deejay has its moments, alas, few and far between.
Cameo is the girl, going to bed with radio station manager Cal Jammer, but unable to convince him to put her on the air. With the help of Aussie star Sunny McKay, she has Debi Diamond distract dj Wayne Summers and ends up with her own hit show titled "Hump Up the Volume". Cameo's gimmick: her moaning and talking dirty on the air to arouse the audience having sex listening at home.
Adds up to nothing much, ending with a cute fast-talking cameo by unbilled Nina Hartley.
