Aquaman

Wow, this was bad! I was unsure if this was a work print or a fan video - and after reading the other review here on IMDb I realize that it is a student film. This redeems it a bit, as I am sure the technical side of the film were more a priority than the story itself.

The opening "animation", is supposed to look like comic book art being narrated - but the art quality is not good enough by far to pass as a real comic book. It seems more like place holders or story boards than anything else. When it turns to live action, the technical quality is actually quite good. There are even some under water shots, and they managed to get a shot of Aquaman water skiing on dolphins! But the story? Oh boy. They attempt a light-hearted goofy superhero story like the Adam West Batman-shows, but don't pull it off. It seems more like a parody than anything else.

It's worth checking out if you are into live action superheroes, but remember that this is a student film, not anything official.
