Africa Adventure

Narrator Robert C. Ruark is going on a real African safari in order to correct some of the misconceptions from Hollywood movies. He claims that nothing has been staged and I hope none of this is stock footage. He is your basic middle aged white adventurer on a shooting safari. He goes on a plane to Ethiopia and then travels overland to Kenya. Along the way, he meets the locals and even joins a tribe to hunt an elephant. He continues until he really starts getting his hunt on. For sure, this is not some animal lover taking pictures. He is really hunting and killing. His big thesis is that Africa is a kill-or-be-kill kind of a place. Besides the compelling animal footage including the kills, the most compelling aspect may be meeting the locals. This is a piece of time and place, no matter how we feel about the animals' treatment.
