Victoria Alcock (Julie Saunders), Kika Mirylees (Julie Johnston) and Helen Fraser (Sylvia 'Bodybag' Hollamby) are the only characters to remain through the entire series run.

Julie Johnston's surname varies from Johnson and Johnston throughout the series run.

For the ending credits of each episode for series 1 & 2, there was a standard scrolling credits used. Listing all characters in order of appearance. Series 3 & 4 featured standard ITV credits, a gold toned slow motions version of the opening alongside the credits. Series 5 to 7 featured an updated version of the standard ITV credits where the credits were listed over a blue and black background. The 8th and final series used another updated ITV stand credits in which the credits appeared against a blue background.
