In 1973, in São Paulo, the friends Mário (Nuno Leal Maia), Vado (Kadu Moliterno), Durva (Tony Tornado) and Zé Luis (Alexandre Rodovan) schedule to travel to the Mário's family real state in the countryside to spend the weekend with their girlfriends. Vado's girlfriend Lenita (Nádia Lippi) is still virgin and they agree to bet in a matchstick game the virginity of Lenita. When Vado loses the game to Durva, he decides to protect Lenita and he fights against Mário. But Vado is knocked down by Mário and their weekend ends in a tragedy.
The lame and shameful "A Virgem" is one of the most senseless and stupid films I have ever seen. I do not know the target audience of the writer and director Dionísio Azevedo, or if he is slow, but the truth is that I can not envision a normal human being enjoying this crap. I have recorded this flick in "Canal Brasil" and my conclusion is that it is neither erotic nor dramatic, but a collection of stupidities. The annoying soundtrack completes this mess. My vote is one (awful).
Title (Brazil): "A Virgem" ("The Virgin")
