Le chant du pigeon gris

Authentic military equipment from World War II is seen in the movie, among others Panzer IV, LT-38, Bergepanther tanks, and Stug III and Stug IV tank destroyers.

During the ending scene, there are two explosions after mine detonations to be heard, but when the camera shows the site, there is only one huge crater to be seen. Also, the little boy Rudko is halfway buried under the dirt with no blood or torn limbs visible. The director wanted to keep it PG-12 in Slovakia.
