      The title of the series is a reference to the "Feast of the Holy Great Sovereigns Constantine and Helena, Equal to the Apostles" (21 May), a feast of the Orthodox Christian Church. It commemorates two saints: Roman Emperor Constantine the Great (reigned 306-337) and Elena, his mother and Augusta during his reign. They are typically commemorated together. "Konstantinos" is the Greek form of the name "Constantine", and Eleni the Greek form of the names "Helen"/"Helena".

    Could be my favorite Greek show ever! I love it so much, I have watched it over & over again, and haven't been bored once! Such a rare thing nowadays!
