Momma's Boy

Working in film, I have to sit through more than my fair share of shorts. Admittedly, these pieces are usually largely done by first-time or burgeoning filmmakers, actors, and writers. Having said that, I realize and have come to expect questionable dialogue, pacing, cinematography, etc. That's part of the genre. But the ACTING in this short film, especially the hideous work of the younger female Raasch really makes this piece especially painful to watch. Frankly I've seen more moving performances in adult films. Don't get me wrong, shorts *can* be good, even great. But after sitting through this schlock I find myself prompted to write a review in the hopes of helping others! Save yourself.
