Based on the true story of failed Nationalist attempt

The literal translation of the title is: Bosimao in Action.

When the Nationalists were driven out of mainland, the island near Chinese coast were the next flash points. Nationalist agents were still very active since communists had just taken over, and in real life, the target was the mayor of Shanghai as the movie depicted, who happened to be the People's Liberation Army Field Marshal Chen, Yi, who also happened to be the military commander of eastern China, the Commander-in-Chief of Eastern China military district.
