Anecdotes
The series' main writer was Yoshiyuki Tomino, and its main character designer was Mamoru Nagano. Nagano felt that the series failed to live up to its potential. He went on to create an unofficial remake of the series, the long-running manga series "The Five Star Stories" (1986-).
