Ente Veedu Appuvinteyum

This is a Malayalam language film starring Jayaram, his own son Kalidas playing his son's role, and the underrated Jyothirmayi.

The film is a very sensitive portrayal of a child's mind, a role so well played that Kalidas received a National Award for it. The plot is around feelings of jealousy leading to hatred that a child feels for his newborn step brother. Which situationally leads to the death of the baby. How the parents hold up and support their son emotionally while the system and society is against him is the crux of the film.

I say it's a must watch for parents to learn to prioritise feelings of all their children equally. To understand and help evolve their child's psychology.

Superb story, direction and performances. A must watch.
