Tuer un enfant

This is easily the most thrilling, sad, gripping and thought provoking short I've ever seen. The story is told almost entirely by narration and has some truly exceptional lines that play with your emotions and stays in your mind even after you've finished watching. From the second I started watching to the second it ended (which isn't very long considering its a short) my eyes were glued to the screen, and my mouth was usually wide open. It is a shocking and tragic story, yet the film never blames anyone. It doesn't point the finger or tell you what to think. There's no villain, the killer is constantly referred to as a "happy man" making the event more tragic as well as more realistic and powerful.

I highly recommend this underated classic that holds up surprisingly well.
