Howard Hughes has been played by the following actors in the following productions: Leonardo DiCaprio in Aviator (2004), Victor Holchak in Hughes and Harlow: Angels in Hell (1977), Tommy Lee Jones in The Amazing Howard Hughes (1977), Jason Robards in Melvin et Howard (1980), Terry O'Quinn in Rocketeer (1991), Dean Stockwell in Tucker: L'homme et son rêve (1988), David Neff in Bettie Page: Dark Angel (2004) and Milton Buras in Faussaire (2006). DiCaprio and Robards were both nominated for an Academy Award for their portrayals of Howard Hughes, in the categories of Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor respectively. Neither won but both actors have won an acting Oscar on other occasions.

Fun little film about the last years of Bettie's career

If you are expecting a Hollywood big budget feature, re-think your approach to this film. This is a small, B-Budget film about Betty Page and her work with Irving Klaw making erotique shorts on 8mm camera. The lead, Paige Richards, is a dead ringer for Betty and does a fabulous job re-creating the movies. The 'film' in the 'jungle' actually features still shots of the real Betty Page from the shoot in the '50s. Full of tongue-in-cheek humour, take this film for what it is, a B-movie about THE pin-up icon...
