Fred Lincoln and his better half Patti Rhodes took a light-hearted look at their profession in "Amber's Pursuit", about how shooting porn in a house located in a quiet L.A. suburb can affect the neighbors.
Monica Mayhem, looking uncannily similar to current porn star Natalia Starr, plays Amber, a very horny porn actress who causes all the trouble. She's shooting at the home of producer Marty Romano, and comes on to his neighbor Billy Glide, who already has a beautiful girlfriend (the great but pretty much forgotten star Gwen Summers) and wants nothing to do with Amber. Film's conceit is established right from the outset, as Glide looks down on the porn profession, while the viewer is well aware that the actor owed his livelihood to it in real life before his untimely demise (over a decade after this video was shot).
Some of the antics depicted are fairly amusing, with Chris Evans (NOT that Chris Evans!) fun in a NonSex role as Glide's horny buddy who likes to start his sentence with the word "Dude". But Lincoln as usual keeps firmly committed to the XXX content, delivering plenty of it.
Besides hot footage involving both Mayhem and Gwen, there are other strong scenes, notably husky-voiced Nikita Denise (unfortunately her dialog is largely drowned out by loud music for some reason) as Romano's sexy caterer and huge-breasted Kristal Summers as a sunbathing porn actress. One learns very little about how Adult Cinema is created, but it is cute to see the participants poking fun at themselves.
