Indecent Radio

Jace Rocker made several classic porn comedies in the '90s VHS era, but this decade later throwback is a failed attempt to get that mojo back. It's one of Wicked Pictures' weaker titles, deserving obscurity.

It also represents the first starring role for Wicked for sexy Devon Michaels, often seen in support of some contract star. In fact, there are no contract girls in this feature, atypical for the era when Wicked had many of its top ladies on the payroll.

Devon plays Kay Starr, not the singer but a lady deejay on 50,000 watt station KCUMZ, meant to be a cute handle but with too many letters. Her friendly engineer is Frank Bukkwyd, king of NonSex roles in porn and adding little to the program.

It's a call-in show, and listeners contribute erotic stories that are illustrated as flashbacks. This porn format is frequently used, with the best examples being recent Brit Porn releases "Erotica FM" with Stella Cox and "Radio Erotica" with Porcha Sins. Neither of those opted for silly jokes or slapstick like Rocker has here.

Even the running time is a vestige of VHS: 78 minutes for five sex scenes, which would run more like 2 hours had Jace gotten the memo that 21st Century fans demand longer XXX vignettes.

Content of the illustrated stories is all over the map, ranging from fairly ambitious stagings to routine generic porn. Holly Wellin brings her lovely regional UK accent to a WW II threesome involving fly boys Eric Masterson (with blond hair) and Seth Dickens, while a quasi Old West railroad hold-up has hammy Evan Stone humping Anna Mills, who admits in the BTS short subject that this appearance is a departure from her well-established fetish video career into hardcore boy/girl action - presumably she needed the bread.

Michaels gets two sex scenes, the finale being a stupid threesome involving Tony Tedeschi and Alex Sanders vaguely mimicking the Wayne's World characters, forcing Devon to play their CD song on the air at gunpoint, a rather farfetched extension of real-life payola.
