Angela White shines in the title segment of this Pure Taboo 2-fer on DVD, also writing the incisive screenplay.

She portrays an abused wife, whose husband Tommy Pistol is an extreme control freak, planning out her diet and exercise regimen, getting her obsessed with body image and trying to be thinner. This is obviously a personal topic for the Adult star, and by using a perverse/fetish porno genre she drives home the theme in a novel way.

Not unlike the duality of a dominating boss who in private life needs a dominatrix to settle his score, Pistol has been carrying on for six months, unbeknownst to his wife, with a big woman (plump star of hundreds of BBW fetish videos Karla Lane, recently seen in mainstream porn in "Women by Julia Ann"), with whom he indulges his fetish as a so-called "feedie". A new term on me, it's explained here as a compulsion to feed a woman, getting sexual pleasure as a result.

So we see in over-the-top fashion (reminding me almost of the classic scenes by Jim Powers in his "Perverted Stories" series of two decades earlier) Pistol feeding cupcakes to Lane while humping her, not for comic effect but strongly perverse.

Lengthy vignette climaxes after Angela discovers the affair, has a heart-to-heart talk with Lane, and then devises a horrific revenge on hubbie.

Besides Angela's tour-de-force performance, the generally giggly, ebullient Lane has a terrific scene playing serious, during the confrontation with White. This 55-minute opus would be a classic, were it not for the glaring defect of casting Pistol, who brings his usual tics and extreme overacting as a way-too-obviously heavy bad guy, making me wonder for the umpteenth time why he is so popular with many leading porn directors for such key assignments.

Supporting feature is "To Catch a Cheater", well-played but more of a one-note exercise. Filmmaker Bree Mills' frequent crew member Curious Judas earns a screen credit for his brief acting role as India Summer's husband, unaware that she is cheating on him as part of her nympho condition, making sexual liaisons on-line.

Her latest hook-up, with her removing her wedding ring on camera to telegraph the viewer immediately what's up, is with newcomer Dustin Daring, previously seen in Wicked's big-deal feature "The Possession of Mrs. Hyde". Other than his tendency to hump India with his big dick still half-limp (that old Johnny Wadd syndrome), he is adequate opposite the great actress, in a tale of revenge.
