Commentaire à la une
"Lost Love" needs to be seen without spoilers, as it represents one of Brad Armstrong's best scripts in recent years, with a wonderful surprise plot twist.
Told in a somber almost morbid tone, story concerns star Jessica Drake's extreme grief at the death of her husband. She eventually joins a grief counseling group (led by that ubiquitous NonSex actor of porn movies Frank Bukkwyd), and elements of a ghost story (worthy of Irish playwright Conor McPherson) are injected into the narrative.
The sex scenes (including a couple of masturbation solos by Jess) are well-handled and Brad even writes in a sex scene in the bathroom for himself opposite Kira Noir.
You have to stick with this movie until the key twist is revealed, as it is slowly paced, but well worth the stimulating payoff.
