- AnecdotesDuring filming, Milla Jovovich accidentally shot out a $100,000 camera.
- Gaffes(at around 26 mins) When Alice tied up Claire after a fight, Claire's hair is untidy, her face and arms are dirty and and her clothes are ruined. Later, in the plane, Clair is perfectly coiffed, clean and made-up. It seems that she also has new clothes, yet the two were only on a small airfield with no infrastructure around.

- Crédits fousAt the end of the credits, you can hear Alice say: "Hey boys, is that any way to treat a lady?"
- Versions alternativesDue to German regulations and FSK attitude towards violence, a second version was created during post production to secure a more commercial "Not under 16" rating. This version removes or reduces some of the more violent scenes and gore effects (less blood splatter etc.). It was also used in Austria and the German-speaking regions of Switzerland. However, the DVD/Blu-ray release features the uncut version and is rated "Not under 16" as well. Since the FSK guidelines for home media are stricter than for theatrical releases, the cut theatrical version is thus rendered totally unnecessary.

[plays during the final fight and then again at the very end of the movie including the first part of end credits]
This forth film completely falls flat on both accounts. Thanks to 2 dimensional characters, an overdone plot, and poor use of foreshadowing, the entire film is predictable. At the same time it doesn't bother to show or explain how certain important plot devices came to be. The movie reeks from it's overuse of Deus ex machina.
The special effects were the only engaging thing about this movie. A lot of it felt like The Matrix in 3D.
One other thing this film did well was continuity from the 3rd film. I like that they didn't spend much time on flashbacks while being faithful to the events of the 3rd film.
All in all my feeling after seeing the movie was that I was expecting more. They could have made it longer, filled in some missing details, developed the plot/characters more, and had a much more enjoyable film.
