Seeking Wellness: Suffering Through Four Movements

First off I got to say this is one of the bleakest movies I have ever seen! Each story is very dark. Almost reminded me of the anthology Cutting Moments, just not as well done or gory. Just really in tone. The movie mostly has good performances and fairly interesting stories. The only real problem is that this is not that entertaining of watch per say. While I felt invested most of the time I just kinda cared more just because I was curious where the story was going, but felt like each one had very little pay off. And the first story while it was particularly well done and messed up, wasn't really good. More like being a fly on the wall of a messed up scene. I know that was the point but like I mentioned before, was not entertaining. The first story easily being the worst of all stories. The one with the father and the kids on Christmas was great. I wish we had a better pay off to it but oh well.

If your a fan of dark, depressive, minimalistic cinema you might wanna give this one a spin.
